This equipment primarily consists of a plexiglass tank, internal water-washing components, upper and lower connecting flanges, upper and lower end caps, an overflow pipe, an installation bracket, and inlet and outlet connecting ferrule fittings, forming a complete set of sample gas water-washing equipment.

The water-washing tank has a sample gas inlet, a sample gas outlet, a water injection port, an overflow port, and a drainage port; Its main component is the internal water washing component. The sample gas enters from the sample gas port and is discharged from the bell mouth below the water surface into the mixing tube. The sample gas generates an injection effect at the bell mouth. In the space above the water surface, a negative pressure zone is formed due to the action of the sampling pump. Under the dual effects of ejector and negative pressure, water and sample gas enter the mixing tube together and are then sprayed downwards from the elbow on the top of the mixing tube, re-entering the water to create a repeated cycle. This has two functions. Firstly, it allows for a more thorough mixing of the sample gas and water. Secondly, it prevents large waves of water from being thrown out during the washing of the tank and the purging of the sample gas pipeline with nitrogen, thus avoiding water splashes that could be carried into the sampling pump and cause damage to it as well as wastage of washing water. Additionally, during the purging of the sample gas pipeline, the interior of the water washing components can also be purged and cleaned.
